Hello, My name is Dan Lego and I am an international award-winning balloon artist that has been twisting balloons and entertaining professionally since 2010. I got my start in Orlando, Florida twisting balloons in college for a company that trained and sent balloon twisters to restaurants and birthday parties in the Disneyworld and Central Florida area. I very quickly got noticed for my speed and skill and started working with various other booking agents in Orlando who specialized in large corporate events.

In 2015, I left Florida on a three-month cross-country road trip where I met another entertainer that introduced me to busking/street performing. While on the road trip with funds running low, equipped with my balloon apron, I started busking in Telluride, Colorado and in Tucson, Arizona and made enough money to finish out the trip.  Landing in Portland, Oregon after my road trip, I started to busk every weekend at the Portland Saturday Market until 2018. Following Portland, I eventually found myself working seasonally in Skagway, Alaska. I twisted balloons every week at Skagway Brewing Company (the second largest restaurant in Alaska) when the Disney cruise ship would arrive in town.

I arrived back in Portland at the end of 2019 and due to the COVID pandemic was unable to do much entertaining, but I used this time to work on a professional balloon set-up for busking and for festivals. After a long year of COVID shutdowns and protests I decided to move to the mountains of Colorado!

Arriving in Steamboat Springs, Colorado in August of 2020 the mountains called, and I answered! I started back twisting balloons and entertaining in 2021 at the Steamboat Springs Farmers Market, Steamboat Pro Rodeo and Steamboat Springs Resort base area. Very quickly becoming a big hit in the community, I started booking all kinds of events and parties in Steamboat Springs and surrounding mountain towns. Realizing the need for more entertainment especially for children in the mountain towns I decided to start my company Mountain Town Entertainment to share his passion for balloons and my skill for entertaining with Colorado!

Looking for a larger operating area I have now relocated to Golden, Colorado in 2025 to start offering my entertainment and booking services to the Denver area while also extending my reach into the front range mountain towns.

Dan decided to add more entertainment skills to my offerings and started learning to juggle in 2022. I started learning to stilt walk in 2024. I started to learn to face paint in May of 2025. I work with a community of other entertainers and have the ability to book other balloon artists, face painters, jugglers, stilt walkers and many other different acts.
